Projects / Optika Jagodina
An optician in the centre of Jagodina got a website that shows the range, the services and the opening hours, so visitors know what to expect before they walk in.
Result Customers know the opening hours, the address and what the shop does before they come
The challenge
Glasses are bought rarely, so people choose carefully where to go. They ask friends and then check online: where the shop is, when it is open, which brands it carries and whether an eye test can be done there. If they find none of that, they go where the information is clear.
Without a website all those questions ended up on the phone — or nowhere, because many people will not call just to ask about opening hours.
For an optician it is not enough to say you exist. Customers want to see what the shop looks like, what the choice of frames is and who will serve them. So the website is not a list of services but a shop window — with photos of the space, clearly listed services and the basic details always at hand.
The solution
The most wanted details — address, opening hours and phone number — sit at the top of every page, and on a phone the number is called with one tap. It is a small thing that gets used the most, because most visitors arrive on mobile.
Below that the website explains the offer: eye tests, the choice of frames and lenses, and the equipment used.
A choice of frames cannot be described in words. Instead of long texts the website has a gallery with photos of the shop and the range, so visitors see the selection and the atmosphere for themselves. It is the part that holds attention the longest.
A frequently asked questions section covers what people most often ask by phone — how an eye test works, what to bring and how long glasses take. Every such answer is one call less and one more customer who actually comes in.
What was done
From the basic details to the gallery and the questions that keep repeating.
Home, About, Services, Gallery and Contact — no surplus pages, so everything is one click away from the menu.
Address, opening hours, phone and email at the top of every page, with one-tap calling from a phone.
Eye tests, the choice of frames and lenses and the equipment used — explained briefly, in the customer’s language.
Photos of the shop and the selection, because customers judge frames with their eyes, not from a description.
Answers to what is most often asked by phone, so nobody has to call about a small detail.
The location in the town centre clearly marked, with how to get there and where to park.
How it went
Most of the time went into preparing photos of the shop.
What the shop offers, who the customers are and what they most often call to ask. The structure came out of that.
Selecting photos of the space and the range and preparing short texts the shop then completed.
A light, clean style that suits the industry, checked on a phone.
Checks on all devices, basic SEO settings and handover with the option to make changes independently.
The result
No numbers I cannot back up — only what changed in day-to-day work.
Customers know the opening hours, the address and what the shop does before they come
The number is called with one tap, without copying it down
The range is shown through the gallery instead of being described on the phone
Common questions are answered on the website, so there are fewer calls about small things
The shop has its own address online, not only a social media profile
Client feedback
“Zlatko managed to turn our ideas into a modern, functional and well-structured website. Communication was excellent throughout the whole project, and every change and request was handled quickly and precisely. We got a professional online presence that fits the identity of our optician’s and makes it easy for customers to find the information they need.”
