Projects / Medical transport JA
A patient transport service got a website you can call from with one tap, at the moment when a family has no time to hunt for information.
Result The call is one tap away, from any page
The challenge
Nobody looks for patient transport in advance. They look for it on the day a family member has to be taken to therapy, home from hospital or to a doctor in another town. The person searching is under pressure, usually on a phone, and has no patience for wandering around a website.
In that situation the winner is whoever answers three things at once: are you working now, what exactly do you transport and how do I call you.
On top of that, a family is entrusting someone with a relative. So the website has to feel serious and calm, without exaggeration and without promises that cannot be kept. Clearly stating what the service does and how the transport works is worth more than any advertising line.
The solution
The number and the 24/7 note sit right at the top of every page and are called with one tap. It is the only thing that really gets measured in this business — how quickly a visitor reaches the call.
Directly below it is a short explanation of what the service transports and which area it covers.
People arranging transport for the first time do not know what to expect. So the website describes how it works, which patients it is for and which institutions it goes to. That removes the worry and shortens the conversation, because half the questions are already answered on the page.
Jagodina and the surrounding towns are listed openly, along with transport to public and private institutions. That way someone from a nearby town does not give up wondering whether they are too far away.
What was done
Everything serves one goal — that the call happens without hesitation.
The phone number and the 24/7 note visible on every page, with one-tap calling from a phone.
Clearly stated which kinds of transport the service provides and for which patients, without jargon.
A step-by-step explanation from the call to the arrival, so the family knows what to expect.
The towns and institutions covered, so nobody gives up out of uncertainty.
Answers to what is most often asked by phone, written calmly and without promises.
For planned transport there is also an enquiry form, for when the call is not urgent but arranged in advance.
How it went
Every decision was made against one question: does this speed up the call.
What the service does, which transports it handles most often and what people ask on that first call.
Short pages with no surplus text, with the most important information at the top.
A calm, serious look that suits a healthcare service, with the phone number emphasised.
Checks on phone and desktop, basic SEO settings and handover of the website.
The result
No numbers I cannot back up — only what changed in day-to-day work.
The call is one tap away, from any page
Families know in advance which transports the service handles and which areas it covers
Less explaining on the phone, because the process is described on the website
The service has a serious address online, which for this kind of work is a matter of trust
Planned transport can also be arranged through the form, not only by phone
Tell me what you do and I will suggest a website that shortens the path from search to call.
